Welcome to the all new website of the North of England’s Premiere Martial Arts and Combat Sports Gym
We are proud to present the all new website for the Olympik Dream. Here you will find some new and very cool new stuff.
First, a bit of information about who we are:
The Olympik Dream is a new, purpose designed combat and fitness centre providing premier facilities for martial art and combat sports, strength training and fitness with world class coaches. Based in Crosshills, West Yorkshire, we are a ‘not for profit’ company with the following primary objectives:
Increase participation in physical activity for all ages and abilities using the martial arts and strength sports as a medium
To provide a focal point for athlete and coach development in the West Yorkshire region
Provide an effective bridge between school and lifelong sporting participation
Opportunities for those that choose to work towards national and international standards aiming towards the Olympic and Paralympic games
We are home to the new EKF England Karate Northern Performance Centre where all prospective international fighters in the region will prepare for competition under the tutelage of head coach and World Champion Paul Newby.
We are also home to West Yorkshire Disabled Weight Lifting where prospective paralympians are coached, as well as providing weight lifting coaching to disabled athletes.
Our coaching team includes British, European and World Champions in many sports. We have a relaxed, welcoming club-like atmosphere, making us very different to more traditional gyms - come and see for yourself!
We are very proud of our gym and the opportunities it provides for anyone to try out a completely new type of sport in a controlled, safe environment and have fun whilst they are doing it. You can train as hard (or as easy) as you want to, or get serious with our champions!
